Colorado-Made Movie 'Wrong Side Up' to Screen at This Year's Starz Film Festival

The Colorado produced short film, Wrong Side Up, is part of the Adversity Colorado Shorts film series in the STARZ Denver Film Festival at UA Pavilions, November 15th and 20th. You can RSVP here.

Here's what you're in for:
The Dust Bowl was the worst man-made ecological disaster in American history. For Colorado, it transformed the landscape and Coloradan people with a decade long drought. Wrong Side Up is a short film about Mac, a twelve-year-old boy whose fate is determined by his father's departure and the impending Dust Bowl as he is forced to care for his family and their farm.

Wrong Side Up was shot at historic locations all over Colorado by Coloradan filmmakers and historians. Denver production company Crooked Lake Productions worked with History Colorado, the Colorado Film and Video Association as well as the cities of Como, Campo, Englewood and Denver to shoot this film.
