News Submission Guidelines
If you have a news item, calendar event, or announcement that you want the Colorado Film and Video Association to consider for publication in our e-mail newsletter (the CFVA eBulletin) or on this website, please follow these guidelines:
Articles and event announcements should be relevant to our readership: film, video and multimedia professionals in Colorado. Most of our association members are production people; relatively few actors are represented here, and we generally do not publish announcements of castings.
We recommend that submissions with time sensitive information should be submitted at least two weeks before the event date. Make sure you include the event date in the appropriate field on the submission form, along with the time, location, and cost, if any, of your event. We publish links but we do not publish event items that require eBulletin readers to follow a link in order to get basic information. Our readers are seeing it here, not there.
Press releases are not solicited, nor are they likely to be used.
The CFVA reserves the right to edit content, and there is no guarantee that all items submitted will be used.
Please proofread your submission for correct numbers, dates, incomplete information, etc. The submission form allows you to preview your submission for this purpose.
CFVA is dependent upon submitters to provide correct information.
