47th Annual Denver FIlm Festival

Founded in 1978, the Denver Film Festival was one of the first film festivals in the country. Now, in its 47th year, the Festival is an annual celebration of cinema that takes place in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado. As one of the region’s premier film events, the festival showcases an exceptional lineup of thought-provoking, innovative, and diverse films from around the world.

With a history spanning over four decades, the Denver Film Festival has established itself as a destination for film enthusiasts, industry professionals, and cultural explorers alike. It provides a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their work, while also featuring acclaimed films from established directors. Throughout the festival, over 40,000 attendees are immersed in a dynamic and captivating cinematic experience. In addition to the outstanding film screenings, the Denver Film Festival presents a range of Red Carpet presentations, special events, including filmmaker Q&A sessions, panel discussions, workshops, receptions, and industry networking opportunities.

Presenter Alison Kondler, the creator behind @birding_by_ear, will share her knowledge gained creating in the TikTok ‘trenches’ for 4 years and demonstrate how these tactics have an even greater impact for growth on Instagram and Facebook. Join CFVA & WIFMCO at our annual holiday party in support of the film community of Colorado and F.I.N.D. We will have live music, games, an UGLY SWEATER CONTEST, great prizes and a chance to grab some memorable moments at our film themed selfie stations. Ugly sweaters and/or holiday attire highly recommended.

Ligt food will be served and cash bar will be open from 7pm - 9:45pm

1 drink ticket per 21+ entry.

Members of CFVA & WIFMCO can join us for free. Non-members may join for $20 which includes a drink ticket. Non-member entry fee may apply to membership enrollment to either CFVA or WIFMCO on night of event. Entry fees will go toward educational programs for both CFVA and WIFMCO 2024 programs. Donations are encouraged. Sponsorships are still available.
